Terms and Conditions 

By enrolling your child, you do so in full agreement with North Harbour Hockey Association’s Terms and Conditions.

Registration & Payment

Payment can be made at the time of registration by Credit Card. For other payment options please contact programme coordinator

Refund Policy

U12 – U14 Cubs and Hawklets – Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

If you cancel registration prior to programme start date, you will receive a FULL refund LESS an administration fee of $15.00. If you withdraw your child during the programme due to injury or illness a REFUND will be made on the production of medical certificate. The REFUND amount will be determined on a pro rata basis. Any non-refundable elements will remain owing, this includes any programme apparel that has already been ordered. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions due to other commitments or minor illness/injury

If original delivery dates cannot occur due to a pandemic, epidemic and/or natural disaster NHHA will do its best to reschedule delivery. Programmes will initially be postponed, while alternative delivery options are explored.

If the programme is cancelled, you will receive a FULL refund. We will do our best to inform you in good time of any cancellation.


U16 Junior Wolves and Hawks 
– Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

For this age group there are two components to the experience which make up the total fee payable. 

Part 1: Programme Experience 

Part 2: Tournament Experience (incl Rep Levy)

 

Part 1: Programme Fee Component

Cancel registration prior to programme start date, you will receive a FULL refund LESS an administration fee of $15.00

Withdraw your child during the programme due to injury or illness a REFUND will be made on the production of medical certificate. The REFUND amount will be determined on a pro rata basis. Any non-refundable elements will remain owing, this includes any programme apparel that has already been ordered. Part 2: Tournament Fee Component

If you cancel registration prior to programme start date, you will receive a FULL refund of the Tournament Fee charged on registration, or whatever tournament contribution you have made.

Withdraw your child during the programme due to injury or illness a REFUND will be made on the production of medical certificate. The REFUND amount will be determined on a pro rata basis. Any non-refundable elements will remain owing, this includes any programme apparel, representative levy and any tournament related expenses that can not be recovered e.g. Accommodation.

Any rep levy paid is non refundable from the time of registration. 

Welfare & Safety

In the event of injury or illness to your child we will contact you and medical authorities promptly; all appropriate steps will be taken to ensure the child’s wellbeing. Any medical costs will be your responsibility.

Rules for all activities are made known to your child prior to the commencement of the activity. All care will be taken to provide supervision of each child attending the programme in accordance with those rules.

Children should be dressed appropriately for the programme.

Please note that it is your responsibility to pick up your child as soon as the programme ends. We and our activity providers do not provide an aftercare service.

Limit of Liability

There is an element of risk in some activities and by enrolling a child in the programme you are deemed to have accepted those risks on behalf of that child. You should make yourself familiar with those risks before you register for a programme.

North Harbour Hockey Association will take all reasonable care of your child and his/her property during their participation in the programme but will not be responsible for any injury to the child or loss of or damage to a child’s property.

Photo & Video Policy

We reserve the right to take photos and videos of activities and children participating in those activities for promotional and publicity purposes. By enrolling a child in this programme you give your consent for photos and videos to be taken of that child. If you do not want photos and videos of the enrolled child to be taken or used for promotional purposes you must state this in writing to North Harbour Hockey Association before the commencement of the programme.

Indemnity

By booking a child in a programme you do so at their sole risk and your responsibility. You also hold harmless North Harbour Hockey Association, its respective servants, agents or officials against any actions or claims which may be made by yourself, on your behalf or by other parties in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss or damage caused by negligence, breach of contract or any other manner whatsoever.

North Harbour Hockey Association reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any child from any activity where the terms and conditions have not been complied with or for safety reasons.

Wet Weather Policy

In the event a session is called off due to bad weather North Harbour Hockey Association will make every attempt to postpone and reschedule this session.

If this programme is at least 80% completed and weather causes cancellation (after rain days have been delivered), North Harbour Hockey Association will deem this as an appropriate level of completion and NO REFUNDS will be made.

Personal Information

I give consent for the details I have provided to be shared for reporting, development and funding purposes with Hockey New Zealand and any other North Harbour Hockey supporters as required by NHHA. I also understand the details provided may be shared with other North Harbour Hockey Staff members for hockey development purposes. North Harbour Hockey will keep the information provided confidential and ask for your consent before providing contact details to anyone outside of the organisation, that is not for reporting, development or funding purposes.
