NHHA Club Trials – FAQ

How old do you have to be to play in the NHHA Club Competition?
Anyone in year 9 and above can play in NHHA Club Competition.

Can I attend trials for different Clubs?

Absolutely. You can attend as many trials as possible to allow you to find the most suitable club for you.The trial schedule has been made so that you can attend multiple club trials for the same grade without clashing. If they do clash, you will be able to attend the other club’s trial in the second weekend.

How do I know the time and venue for each trial? You can find the trial schedule for both weekends from our website by clicking here.

Do I have to register for each trial I am attending?
Some Clubs would prefer you to register prior to trials. This would make it easier for the club to administrate on the day. Please click here to find all our Clubs information. From here you will be able to go to each Club’s personal website and find their trial registration form. Please note some Clubs do not require trial registrations so do not panic if you are unable to find their form. You can simply turn up on the day.

What happens if I am unable to attend trials?

As Clubs run their own trails and make their selections, it would be best for you to contact your chosen club and notify them. Please see club contacts in the above links.

Where can I find out information about the different Clubs?
You can find all Clubs details on our website under the “Our Clubs” Tab, as well as by clicking here.

Feel free to contact Clubs about their grade offering to gain a better understanding prior to trials.

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend trials?
Yes, the NHC is a vaccine required site. Anyone aged 12-years and 3-months and over must provide their Vaccine Pass (or exemption pass) to enter the NHC.
