Our Summer Hockey 9’s competition is back!!

Run on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 19 Oct to 16 Dec 2021 (9 weeks) and recommence 18 Jan to 17 Feb 2022 (5 weeks).


• Tuesday is intended to be a high level; Premier, Premier 2 level
• Thursdays is intended to be more social, including Premier 3 and below skill levels

Entries Open: 10 September 2021 – Entries Close: 4th October 2021

  1. Teams are 9-A-Side & mixed. Goalkeepers are voluntary but preferred. Teams must have a maximum of 5 males on the field at any one time. Players must be 14 years and above. Entries are limited to 16 teams.
  2. Teams should consist of only Premier 1, Premier 2 and/or Premier 3 registered grade players.
  3. Games are played over a full field. All games will begin on the hooter. Teams must be ready to play prior to their start time. Games will be 30 minutes one direction. The hooter will also end the game. Goals scored after the hooter will not count.
  4. Games are to be played under normal FIH rules.
  5. Penalty Corners you must have 5 players defending behind the goal line, the other 4 players be at halfway. Helmets will be supplied for those that do not have a goalkeeper.
  6. Score cards will be the responsibility of the umpire.
  7. Team Uniforms are required.
  8. To enable teams to be fairly graded you must complete this form in its entirety. Missing details may result in teams being placed incorrectly. There will be NO recourse to change grade if form is incomplete/incorrect. Teams must register a minimum of 9 players.
  9. Teams must supply an email address as all correspondence is sent out via e-mail.
  10. All draws and points tables will be on the website
  11. Cancellations will be via the Harbour Hockey App, Facebook and posted on the website by 5pm.
