Club Winter youth grade (years 8 - 10)

Youth Grade winter hockey runs throughout Term 2 (dates below) and is played at the National Hockey Centre.

YOUTH Club Trials will be held on 14 & 15 March 2026 (see below for the schedule, once available).

To be eligible for participation in the NHHA Youth Grade Winter Competition, players must be in years 8-10.

When: Sunday mornings

Grades: Boys & Girls A & B Grade in each gender (No Mixed Gender Grades).

Year 8: MUST also play in their school team (in the intermediate competition) to be eligible.

Year 9: WILL NOT be allowed to play in the Senior Club competition.

Year 11: ALLOWED to play in the Youth competition if they are inexperienced and not confident playing in the Senior Club competition.  Clubs must first reach out to NHHA to confirm eligibility.

The purpose of the Youth Grade Competition is to assist clubs in recruiting future members and player development, and it is a great way to start a future allegiance to a North Harbour Senior club hockey.
